Our Mission
The TC4RE Journey
TC4RE supports every business in the technology sector, regardless of their progress with D&I. We are in this together. Our objective is to transparently commit to driving equality and transforming ourselves and our organisations. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, you can follow our thre-phased program to further your D&I journey with TC4RE.
Learn
Our goal is to become recognised as a trusted advisor on racial awareness for the technology sector. We will achieve this by providing access to online resources and learning materials on topics including unconscious bias, equality, diversity, allyship and more. We will also showcase the work of TC4RE organisations and their guiding values. As a result, our ambition is to educate all on why it’s important to foster an inclusive workplace and how to do so.
Engage
We will strive to enable anyone who wants to engage in a D&I conversation. The TC4RE community will provide support and training to ensure individuals are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to generate conversations around D&I and ensure their voices are heard in the workplace.
Transform
Building on the foundation created in the first two phases, TC4RE members will work to transform their organisations through dedicated programmes and initiatives that bring about change. This includes signing up to the Race at Work Charter and Change the Race Ratio and committing to increasing representation across all areas of the technology industry. This work will help to create a culture of allyship and improve the industry for individuals and the organisations they work for.
